This year we\u2019re expecting about 1600 people. We\u2019re already about half way to our goal of $185,000. We have a lot of people raising money. It will take a lot of money to find a cure for Alzheimer\u2019s disease. It\u2019s a fight we\u2019re in for the long haul until a cure is found.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Nate Reed, Associate Director of the Springfield Alzheimer\u2019s Association, there are other walks going on all over the state of Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>These include the Branson Walk on Saturday, September 29, the West Plains Walk on Saturday, September 30 and the Camdenton Walk on Saturday, October 7.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/suttoninhomeseniorcare\/\">(read full interview on our Blog\/Facebook page)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who will be there?<\/strong><br \/>\nA number of sponsor tables will be set up to provide valuable information to those who have a loved one suffering from Alzheimer\u2019s.<br \/>\nThe walk route is a mile long, easy to walk and a little bit different from last year.\u00a0 Refreshments will be available.\u00a0 This includes ice cold water, funnel cakes, and their famous purple pancakes.<\/p>\n<p>The Promise Garden ceremony begins at 10:00 AM.\u00a0 This represents people who are caregivers, people who are advocates, people who have the disease and people who have lost someone with the disease.
